The Inner Core if the hottest layer of the earth as by detected seismological readings.The Inner Core is a solid ball that is about 1220 km in radius.It is believed to have an iron-nickel alloy, and may have a temperature similar to the suns surface approximately 5505°C. The Inner Core sits under the Outer Core.
